6. Protection, Retention & Disposal
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption, access restrictions) to protect personal data. Your data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil collection purposes or comply with legal obligations. Afterward, it is securely destroyed or anonymised.
7. PDPA Data Breach Notification
PEL has a formal breach management plan. If a notifiable breach occurs—likely to result in significant harm or affecting 500+ individuals—we will promptly:
- Assess and contain the breach;
- Notify PDPC as soon as practicable, and no later than 3 calendar days after assessment;
- Notify affected individuals as soon as practicable, providing advice on harm mitigation;
- Notify MAS concurrently if the breach arises from our licensed activities.
8. Children & Special Data
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. We also do not collect sensitive personal data unless legally required (e.g., for AML/CFT).
